Wear Purple Day 2023
October 19th is Wear Purple Day! Take photos of you and/or your staff wearing purple attire and email them to emily@dvacnd.org so we can post them on our Facebook page as a thank you for supporting DVAC. We will also be randomly selecting a winner for donuts!
Dinner Among the Stars 2023
Our annual "Dinner Among the Stars" is June 29th! Join us for a silent auction, 50/50, door prizes, and dinner! Tickets are $30 each, call our office at 701-331-0466 to purchase. We hope to see you there!
Taste of the Holidays at Hugo’s
Make sure you visit Hugo’s on November 17th from 3-6 pm for their sampling event! For just a $5 donation, you get a holiday plate and many different food samples. All proceeds benefit DVAC!
Wear Purple Day 2022
Our annual Wear Purple Day is THIS THURSDAY! Wear Purple Day is more than just a way to bring attention to Domestic Violence Awareness Month. It’s also about visibly showing support for survivors in our community and encouraging people to reach out for help. Together, we can take a stand against domestic violence.
On October 20th, take a picture of yourself and/or your staff wearing purple and email it to emily@dvacnd.org. Submit your photo by the end of the day to be entered into a drawing to win donuts for yourself and/or your business.
October Cash Calendar 2022
Our annual Domestic Violence Awareness Month Cash Calendar Fundraiser. Tickets were purchased for $10 each, which were entered into a drawing for a chance to win a cash prize when drawn on the corresponding days of the week.
Dinner Among the Stars 2022
It’s time again for our Dinner Among the Stars Fundraiser! This year we will be celebrating DVAC’s 40th Anniversary. Call us at 701-331-0466 to purchase tickets. We can’t wait to see you there!
Dinner Among the Stars 2021
Join us from 6-9pm on Thursday, May 27th for this year’s Hawaiian-themed Dinner Among the Stars! Dinner will be served from 6-7:30pm, and the meal will be pork loin, baked potato, and Randy’s famous beans. There will also be a Silent Auction, 50/50, and door prizes!
Tickets are $30 each and include an entry for the door prizes (need not be present to win). Tickets can be purchased by calling our office at 701-331-0466.
Non-Event Fundraiser

Our 4th annual Non-Event Fundraiser where we do not have dinner, drinks, or dancing! This event worked perfectly for this year - it ended up being a perfect COVID-safe event!

New Giving Platform
October 2020
Anyone who signed up for any kind of donation (one-time, monthly, or round-up) using our new giving platform received a free DVAC mug and travel size hand sanitizer. In addition, every new donor was entered in to win a 50" 4K LED Roku Smart TV.
Full Circle of Caring Fundraiser
March 2020
This fundraiser was to raise funds for Prevention and Intervention Programs for Safe Communities in all of the Counties we serve - Cavalier, Pembina, and Walsh. These programs are used to help empower families in our local communities who have been affected by Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.

Tickets were purchased for $10 a ticket and one name was drawn every day of the week except Sundays. Weekday winners received $50, Saturday winners received $100, and this year's Halloween prize for the name drawn on the 31st was a Sceptre 50" LED TV.

Bud, Spud, and Steak Fundraiser

We hosted a fundraising dinner where one ticket got you a steak, potato, beer, and an entry for door prizes. There was also a silent auction at the event, as well as a 50/50 drawing.
Helping Hearts
April 2018
A fundraiser in partnership with Hugo’s and Leevers to show support for survivors of sexual assault in our community during April of 2018. Individuals, businesses, and organizations who donated in honor of sexual assault awareness month had their names placed on hearts, which were displayed at locations throughout the counties.
